Becoming an Educator with Watch Me Grow FDC

There’s a few things you’ll need:

1. A minimum qualification of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

2. Approved & current First Aid, CPR, Emergency Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications

3. Relevant Working with Children Checks for yourself & everyone residing in your home that is 18 years of age or older

4. Adequate knowledge of Early Childhood Regulations and Frameworks and having the ability to provide a curriculum tailored to the children in your care

5. The ability to create a safe, welcoming environment in your home

6. Understanding the importance of collaborating with other educators within the service and other services, coordinators, educational leader, families and your community.

7. Engaging with professional development to ensure continuous learning for yourself and our team whilst the world of early childhood education is ever-evolving
